A co-creation of the deepest love, holding, allowing, connection, nurture and support.

Becoming Mother.

*Honouring the Blessing Way as a traditional Native American Ceremony which originated with the Navajo People. I do not come from this lineage so the name ‘Mothers Blessing’ is reflective of this. With deepest acknowledgment, respect and appreciation to the Navajo People.

A mothers blessing is a beautiful way to sit together in circle with your closest and weave stories, hearts, lives, loves, lineage lines.

It’s a way to deeply honour The Mother; the rite of passage and sacredness that becoming a mother is, every time.

It’s a way of weaving wisdom and gathering in like-heartedness… to form, re-form or re-ignite a sense of oneness, of village, a deeply supported becoming (however this looks like for the mother: needs, wants, desires, values aligned and soul knowings).

The mother is blessed, adorned ‘showered’ - she is honoured and loved and held by her nearest.

The blessings I have been to and guided have been the most special ceremonies, each unique in their own making and unfurling. Full of story, remembrance, tears, gratitude, beauty, togetherness, laughter, hugs and healing.

These blessings are something I have been quietly guiding over the last years since becoming a mother for the second time. I am so grateful. 

They are one of my most favourite offerings as being and becoming a mother is the greatest gift… my greatest gift, so to share this space with you is an absolute joy. To sit in this portal of Life with you. A living and loving ceremony.

Maiden to Mother.

To weave a circle of like-hearted soul support.

These ceremonies are created for you, and by you alongside me and also in collaboration with your loved ones (if you would like them to be involved with the creation process).

This can all be discussed well before the day; specifically what you would like to incorporate and what rituals and activities you would like to include within the ceremony. I can make offerings and suggestions and you can share with me what you would love to piece together.

I can set up the space, or you can, or we can do it together. Blessings work so beautifully in the comfort of a home, on the floor cuddled up or outdoors, under the shade of a tree or blankets on autumn leaves.

I can guide the meditation, ritual and ceremonial aspects and then if there are other offerings your close friends and family would like bring we can add them on the day. 

We can discuss other optional parts of the ceremony we can include too including the weaving of the red thread, symbolic of the umbilical cord and motherline. We weave the red through the circle and leave with a piece of togetherness, reminiscent of the love gathered and held in circle. 

We can pray, sing, meditate, paint… gather flowers and make a mandala. Whatever the circle calls for we can create. We can share pictures, letters, passed down notes and stories… both maternal and paternal lines and particularly honouring the sacredness of the motherline. If mothers and grandmother’s are able to be present, this is incredibly special.

The transition from maiden to mother is one of the greatest, and most transformative experiences in a woman’s life. Anchoring in this moment and being deeply present with its sacredness is what can guide and support our entrance, our becoming and being.

All mothers blessings are for a $250 exchange. This includes creation time; a phone/zoom conversation, emails or voice notes to plan, the ceremony itself, optional pieces to set up the space (if required) and travel (within 30mins).
